It is very well known to you by now that I am conducting
a serious, smell research project. Today, I compared the Tulip,
Daffodil, and Alium.
It was not easy to decide which flower smells the best.
After several samples I have smelled, several sneezes, and a
runny nose I can announce that all three flowers are very pretty.
But the more important news is I am pleased to announce I have ranked the flowers by smell.
A. The Daffodil by itself is hard to smell.
B. The Tulip does not smell at all by itself either.
C.. Alium does not smell, but if you accidentally step on one
and crush it, when you are avoiding a certain Red Squirrel,
you will notice that the smell is not so great.
THE RESULTS OF THE SMELL RESEARCH
1. Daffodil – ranks OKAY
2. Tulip – ranks OKAY
3. Alium – YUCK!
Thank you. Please Enjoy.
The Kickapoo Valley Library is a beautiful building. It is very old, it was designed by an architect who was a student of FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT.
Frank Lloyd Wright is a famous architect who is from Wisconsin.
His famous house and studio, Taliesin, are located in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Frank Lloyd Wright trained a lot of architects in Wisconsin. Mr. Wright’s style of architecture is called Prairie School.
There are a lot of Prairie School style buildings in Wisconsin, libraries, banks, houses, warehouses, garages, and even an airport in Madison.
Did you like my book report? I am still at the library now, and I have at least 12 books on my table related to Frank Lloyd Wright.
I like Frank Lloyd Wright’s architecture because he believed that buildings should blend into the environment.

Today was so exciting, when I got home from school my Mom gave me an envelope. It was a letter from my best friend in Tuvalu, Raita! It was great to hear from her again. She sent me a photo of her and my friends from school.
Raita asked me when I am coming home to Tuvalu again, I hope to be back soon maybe after school in the Summer. I want to invite my friends from Tuvalu to come to Wisconsin to visit me on my farm. I know they would enjoy meeting all my friends in the Kickapoo Valley, and my best friend in the U.S., Jezebel.
After I do my homework I am writing Raita a letter, and sending her some seeds I saved from my vegetable garden last year. I need to buy more stamps. I love visiting the Post Office, I like collecting American and Tuvaluan stamps. I always like to see the newest stamps available at the Post Office. My favorite stamps are the ones that have cartoons or flowers on them.
See you later!
