Spring Smell Project

May 10

alium

It is very well known to you by now that I am conducting
a serious, smell research project. Today, I compared the Tulip,
Daffodil, and Alium.

It was not easy to decide which flower smells the best.
After several samples I have smelled, several sneezes, and a
runny nose I can announce that all three flowers are very pretty.
But the more important news is I am pleased to announce I have ranked the flowers by smell.

A. The Daffodil by itself is hard to smell.
B. The Tulip does not smell at all by itself either.
C.. Alium does not smell, but if you accidentally step on one
and crush it, when you are avoiding a certain Red Squirrel,
you will notice that the smell is not so great.

THE RESULTS OF THE SMELL RESEARCH
1. Daffodil – ranks OKAY
2. Tulip – ranks OKAY
3. Alium – YUCK!

Thank you.  Please Enjoy.

Jezebel’s Trout Farm

Mar 29

troutfarm Tonight we are eating fish! I love fish. My favorite place to buy fish is from my friend Jezebel’s trout farm. She lives down the hill from my farm. They raise rainbow trout on their farm as well many kinds of vegetables and raspberries. Jezebel’s Mom has a small greenhouse where she grows beautiful flowers for the tourists to buy and bring back to their gardens.

Someday Jezebel and I want to open our own flowers market we would invite farmer’s from all over the Kickapoo Valley to sell their flowers there.

I took a photograph of Jezebel’s trout farm. Did you know that it is not
proper to take a picture of the Amish people? It’s true. That is why I only photograph of farm animals, gardens, and buildings whenever I take pictures of Amish Farms for my photo album.

Morrie the Electric Truck

Morrie the Electric Truck

This morning, my mom, dad, Myles and I went to the Madison Flower Market with our newest, prettiest flowers from our field. MORRIE the Electric Truck took us to Madison. I really like the Flower Market there are so many flowers of all kinds and shapes. Some people that come to the Madison Flower Market buy flowers for weddings. Some people buy flowers for their restaurants some people buy flowers for their homes. Or some people just buy the flowers for themselves because flowers make everyone happy.
